Krogs Fishrestaurant has been going through some stormy years.
Many owners have passed through the restaurant, which has slowly
but surely brought the restaurant away from its origin as one of
the most traditional restaurants in town.

The new Krogs is bringing the restaurant back to the essentials
- fish of surpreme quality and a friendly and personal hosting. We
make classic food, deeply rooted in the danish cuisine. Therefore
we reviewed the old menus, and collected a handful of classics,
which we updated with respect for the original style. These
dishes are to be found in our a la carte.
We create the menu of the day when we see the delivery of
today's catch. Here you find a combination of the seasons
vegetables and fish, skillfully put together to present a creative
and exciting menu. Essential to Krogs kitchen is the best local
food, treated with respect, cooked and presented in a simple
way.
To us the raw food material is central, as chefs we are just
communicating the work of nature. We firmly believe that
sustainability and organic products from our producers, is the only
way to secure the future cuisine in these times of excessive
consumerism.
For many years Krogs has been one of the most expensive
restaurants in Denmark. We have chosen to deal with this issue and
lower the prices on both food and wine. The quality is still the
same, though the sizes of the dishes has diminished slightly. This
provides an opportunity for our guests to try more courses, explore
our menu and reach a full and satisfying experience of the cuisine
we offer at Krogs.
